She is currently completing the training required to be a certified perinatal mental counselor. Lastly, Margarita has also worked extensively with women experiencing prenatal/postpartum stressors, trauma, abuse, and perinatal mood disorders. where she worked extensively with children and adolescents suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. On a part time basis, she joined Princeton House’s Intensive Outpatient Program as well as PEI Kids Inc. Upon completion of graduate school in 2006, Margarita worked as a Child Study Team Social Worker supporting students with special needs, behavioral disorders, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders, followed by moving into a director role. Margarita is well versed in the N.J.A.C.6A:14 Special Education Code, programs, services, and a variety of disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia to name a few. Along with working in private practice, Margarita is a full time Director of Special Services in a public school district where she is responsible for the implementation and compliance oversight of IEPS, 504 plans, and the response to intervention process. In 2021, Margarita completed the School Administration-Principal certification through Thomas Edison-NJEXCEL program. In 2016, she completed the Play Therapy Training program at Monmouth University. where she received her Masters in Social Work in 2006. She continued her education at Rutgers University’s School of Social Work in New Brunswick, NJ. Margarita Baldeo, LCSW graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick campus, in 2005 with a B.A. Mindful Mama Wellness Counseling Services LLC is a private practice that is committed to empowering women, adults, and children from childhood through adulthood.
